‘EUMERALLA’ An Australian Food Story – 9th September 2017
A six course culinary story for lovers of fine food and wine!
A tour of the The Australian Plantbank with an amuse bouche and sparkling wine will set the scene for this discovery dinner event.
Once you take your seats, you are in the hands of our talented Chefs and will soon discover and savour the indigenous flavours from once upon a time with a modern twist.
Each course has been thoughtfully paired with a glass of wine. Beer and soft-drink will also be available.
‘Eumeralla’ will be hosted at The Australian Plantbank – a seedbank and research laboratory that specialises in horticultural research and conservation of Australian native plant species.
‘THE PATIENT FARMER’ – 9th December 2017
A six course culinary story that celebrates organic produce and our local farmers’ passion and patience as they yield the rewards of their labour on the land.
Our end-of-year event is a celebration of our region’s farming culture and an experience that brings people together at a communal long table set in a country landscape.
Local organic produce will be embraced in a menu that is honest and simple, boasting flavour and colour.
‘The Patient Farmer’ will be hosted at ‘Milk Cottage Farm’ in Picton, a venue that boasts the most picturesque countryside. The table will be set outdoors to capture the sunset, and await the evening stars.
